Educational Service

Our educational service offer is a tailor-made experience which allows you to select from our educational workshops listed here below. With this choice of pedagogical workshops, you can create YOUR OWN EUROPEAN PROGRAMME for half a day, a full day or even over multiple days.

To discover the different animations, click on the page of workshop. Each workshop is organised according to the educational level : elementary school, college, high school and univeristy/adults.

All of the activities are founded upon class partnerships and they can be held in French and German or in French and English.

The team of the educational service might likewise hold all of these workshops on the premises of your own educational establishments and institutions. This can be arranged with a supplementary payment of 50€ that would cover additional logistical costs related to the organisation of the event and a payment of the travel costs.

The Robert Schuman European Centre creates and delivers its activities, targeting youth groups and educational bodies with these final strategic goals:

-To reinforce European Citizenship
-To discover the values and history of European integration
-To educate a culture of democracy
-To clarify European goals and challenges

The political agenda carried out by CERS with youth groups seeks to respond to four main and general objectives:

1.     To better understand the role of the European Union in society, to develop and promote active citizenship and European culture within educational establishments and other public and political sectors that work with youth,

2.     To clarify the values defended by the European Union and the Council of Europe

3.     To promote knowledge of the European construction and European integration, the founding fathers of Europe and the supporters of Human Rights and European democracy.

4.     To prioritise and integrate, on an annual basis, the themes and foci selected by the European commission

Reminder : teachers and supervisors remain responsible for students during their visits to Scy-Chazelles and/or in workshops held outside our premises. At the end of our workshops, students and teachers receive an age appropriate informative brochure.
