European Puzzle : To be familiarised with European geography and cultures

Participants are challenged to reconstruct the geographical dimension of Europe by assembling a giant puzzle. Through the different colors assigned to each country, the puzzle illustrates the history of European integration and highlights the borders of the European Union. In this way, every student contributes to building Europe!

In a second phase, participants are invited to place a range of cultural indicators in their correct locations on the map of Europe.

Objectives:

• Test and strengthen participants’ cultural and geographical knowledge of Europe.
• Spark participants’ curiosity about the countries and cultures of Europe.
• Review the key stages and challenges of the European Union accession process.

Age: starting from 9 years old

Duration: approx. 1h00 

Price: 75 € per group with a maximum of 20 students

To the attention of teachers and their students: the puzzle pieces are FRAGILE ! The Robert Schuman European Centre reserves the rights to call on the establishment's insurance in the event of damage (chip, breakage, scratch) to one or more pieces and/or equipment used for the workshop.
