Educational Service

Our educational service offer is a tailor-made experience which allows you to select from our educational workshops listed here below. With this choice of pedagogical workshops, you can create YOUR OWN EUROPEAN PROGRAMME for half a day, a full day or even over multiple days.

To discover the different animations, click on the page of workshop. Each workshop is organised according to the educational level : elementary school, college, high school and univeristy/adults.

All of the activities are founded upon class partnerships and they can be held in French and German or in French and English.

The educational service team can travel to your school and carry out all of its activities off-site.

For activities held at the Maison Robert Schuman, please note the opening days and hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Our services are organized “à la carte,” and a personalized offer will be provided.

Please note:

  • For a simple reservation request, our administrative fee is €10.
  • For activities held on Saturdays or Sundays, a surcharge of €50 per day will be added to the total booking cost.
  • For off-site activities (i.e., held at a school or another external location), a logistics fee of €50 will be charged.
  • Travel expenses will be calculated based on the distance traveled.

Reminder: teachers and accompanying adults remain responsible for the students during their visit to Scy-Chazelles. At the end of the workshops, students or teachers will receive appropriate documentation.

Billing terms:

The invoice will be sent only to the person who signed the proposition, who will be responsible for payment. The Robert Schuman European Centre creates and delivers its activities, targeting youth groups and educational bodies with these final strategic goals:

-To reinforce European Citizenship
-To discover the values and history of European integration
-To educate a culture of democracy
-To clarify European goals and challenges

The political agenda carried out by CERS with youth groups seeks to respond to four main and general objectives:

1.     To better understand the role of the European Union in society, to develop and promote active citizenship and European culture within educational establishments and other public and political sectors that work with youth,

2.     To clarify the values defended by the European Union and the Council of Europe

3.     To promote knowledge of the European construction and European integration, the founding fathers of Europe and the supporters of Human Rights and European democracy.

4.     To prioritise and integrate, on an annual basis, the themes and foci selected by the European commission
