Fancy travelling differently, learning a language and giving your future a boost?
Are you aged between 18 and 30 and keen to take a meaningful break, discover a new culture and gain practical skills? The Centre européen Robert Schuman (CERS), a sending organisation accredited by the European Union, will support you every step of the way with your mobility project abroad!

Meaningful placements
Thanks to the CES, you can commit to a placement lasting between 2 and 12 months with European organisations or local authorities, working on issues that you’re passionate about:
- Environment: Nature conservation, ecology, sustainable development
- Solidarity: Welcoming refugees, helping people in need, social cohesion
- Citizenship: Democratic participation, culture, youth education
- Local projects: Social and solidarity economy, entrepreneurship, tackling unemployment
- Mutual aid: Disaster prevention and reconstruction

Eligibility criteria
Age: You must be aged between 18 and 30 (and reside in a partner country of the programme).
Qualifications & Language: NO qualifications or language proficiency required! Your motivation is your only ticket.
Costs covered: Accommodation, pocket money, transport and health cover are provided by the programme.
Inclusivity: Enhanced support is available for young people with fewer opportunities (JAMO).
The 4 steps before you set off
1. Register on the European Youth Portal:
Create an account on the European Youth Portal to access the directory of placements.
2. Find the placement that suits you: Explore the opportunities.
Apply for projects across Europe that inspire you (environment, social, culture, etc.).
3. Contact the CERS team: Sending organisation.
As soon as a placement catches your eye (or if you need help searching), let us know! We can become your official sending organisation.
4. Get ready to take the plunge!: Before you set off.
We’ll support you before, during and after your placement, helping with the administrative, logistical and intercultural preparations so you can set off with peace of mind.
