The Greater Region and I

What does it mean to live in one of the most international regions of Europe? What is there to discover in countries just an hour away from home?

With this giant puzzle of the Greater Region, participants discover the characteristics and opportunities of this cross-border area! The group finds its bearings by reconstructing the geographical layout of the Greater Region. Afterwards, team quizzes on various themes of living together and cooperation take them on a journey through Lorraine, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Luxembourg, Wallonia, and the German-speaking Community of Belgium.

In a fun and cooperative way, the entire group discovers the opportunities offered by the Greater Region and the importance of cross-border cooperation.

Objectives:

  • Test participants’ knowledge of the culture and geography of our cross-border region.
  • Raise awareness of everyday life in a cross-border region.
  • Discover the opportunities offered by a unique cross-border territory.
